mw2 case cracked my game!!!

ive noticed that everytime i take mw2 out of the case its been cracking alittle each time now there is a big chunk falling of the disk the game still works but i dont think it will for long.... will toys r us take it back??? or am i out of luck... i got the game with the mw2 xbox

Your best bet is to talk to the Toys R Us manager. (Manager, don't go to one of their staff-lings, the manager is usually much more customer-satisfication oriented)

Explain the situation in good detail, making sure to point out it wasn't broken by user error. Hopefully they'll understand, give you a new copy, and you'll be back to suffering the agonizingly long process of hitting 10th prestige in no time. ;)

You're suppose to press the pop-up button at the center of the case... not yank the disc from the sides.. no wonder they crack. This has USER ERROR written all over it. Elian2530

that happend to me to, they will give u a replacment for 20 dollors, i was alittle to late for that though lol.

I find the cases for 360 games to be garbage.I have two cracked disks, still in working condition( MW2 funny enough, and Rock Band 2) so now games i really care for, I put them into CD sleeves so they wont get cracked or scratched :)

I think you were pushing the Disk back in the Case, were you? If so, that would make a Crack in it. All you have to do is push the Middle pop up thing in the middle of the case, and put the disk in there, and It should make no Crack noise again, just make sure Push it, and put the disk In. It works great to me.XXGamerfanXX

I do exactly this and it works perfectly. Be sure to press the center button when inserting AND removing the disc. Most people don't press the center button when inserting their games. And that's probably why the disc cracks in the first place.

had the same thing happen to me, i did pop the middle thing everytime and it cracked, and my buddy did the same. It cracked where i couldnt play on derail or use a ac130 or chopper gunner. So i got some1 copy and put it on my hard drive and use my broken disc to start it up. I suggest you do that. Make sure u have around 7gb of space left

I just can't stand how cheap everything in MW2 is. The manual, case, CD art, Main menu, everything but the gameplay (offline). I have has the same problem, so I just keep the disc out of the case. Besides, not playing MW2 is good for you blood pressure.

This has happend to me twice. I deceded to just screw the game. It happened to me like right after i got fall camo on my intervention again -_-
