Am I the only one not freaking out about 5 maps for 15 dollars? It seems like a low price to me. Even if it was $5 people would be freaking out saying it's overpriced. Just get over it already.

Honestly, stuff like this kills it for me. I was trying to get into the game so I could play with some friends but I just don't see myself putting down $15for 5 maps. When 2 of them I am going to assume all they did was hit import from the first game, I don't see the value in it. In the end I might get peer pressured into getting it or will just go back to BF:BC2 or Borderlands as my go to multiplayer games.

That's what I was saying. Especially since I never played COD4, so to me its 5 new maps.
I'm just putting it into perspective of value ... I mean, if 5 maps for $15 is going to increase your value of the game by $15 (marginal benefit), then more power to ya. When I compare it to the 800 MS Points for a FULL game remake I'm buying this week (Perfect Dark), I just don't see the point.

5 Maps for 1200 Microsoft points? No Thanks. I'll be laughing If you have to get the Map Pack to order to play online, lol. Anyways, this seems like a waste of money, but either way, I don't play the game anymore so It doesn't matter to me.
I rather get Perfect Dark since It's 800 Microsoft points, and It's a freaking Full game! Now thats cool.
Not really a problem. Halo 3 was charging 800 for three terrible maps. At least this has five. I won't be getting it though, no new Spec Ops missions and Bad Company 2 is out (which is getting free maps).

good point. I feel like this DLC are maps arleady finished and witheld from the disc just to charge us later for it. I moved on from MW2 anyway a month ago.
They have gamers by the balls. People will unfortunately pay for them. FYI, Perfect Dark comes out in two days. Use your map-pack money for a new game instead. a game that'll probably be cheaper.
I was unsure if I was going to even buy them at 800 points but now that they're 1200 I'll pass. Not that $15 is a lot of money or anything, but I just can't believe they would do that after all the problems the game has had. I ranked up to 70 when the game first came out and quit playing it after that. I guess I just got bored with it.
I'll probably pass on this for now. I'm enjoying BC2 (new maps come out the same day AND they are free) and I'd rather get Megan Man 10 over a map pack I'll probably only end up playing for a few days until some d-bag finds a way to get under them.

What people like you don't get is Activision will test $15 and people will say "If you don't like it don't buy it" just like they did with $10, then other devs see people will pay that then charge $15.. then Activision will try $20 etc. Maps are not hard at all to make and 5 maps with 2 rehashes is not worth $15.

i like the dick move of them calling it "Stimulus Package", like they need a bail out or something! so that will make the game 75 bucks total? and all we get is 5 measley new maps

yea you get 5 maps, but only 3 are new. I seen videos if crash and overgrown, its baiscally the same as 4 just nick nacks in some buidings. And also the 800 ms map packs for waw you got a zombie map along with 3 other maps all new and for lets say gears you got to do horde and am i right wasnt the maps imported from the 1st one to the second free???? Cause i got them for free. for mw2 what u get to be killed by a guy with commando that stabbed you from 10 feet away while your pumping a shotgun into them, thats impossible. I love mw2 i play it everyday some day i get fustrated but im not paying 15 bucks for 3 maps and also if i wanted to play crash or overgrown it takes me all but 10 sec to put in the cod4 disc and i dont have to worry about lag and the bull $hit perk commando, and when they make the maps requried to have to play ill just go back to 4 i never prestieged on there so i might do that
