Haven't gotten any yet.. i've gotten a couple of killstreaks in the high twenties and low thirties, i just never have it equipped.. oh and the "30 Something" title is supposed to be unlocked when you get a killstreak over 30 right? mine is 31 and i never got it :(

If the other team has killstreaks going. stay under cover and get some AA rockets. its not hard. Quit complaining when your team gets wiped out by harriers and chopper gunners. I cant count how many times i've gotten flack for that, lol

exactly.. the first thing i'll always do whenever the enemy gets airsupport is whip out my anti air class, i have 156 killstreaks destroyed w/ cold blooded (and more without,) no one i've ever played against has gotten a nuke because i always take out the air support as quickly as possible.. a couple people on my team have gotten nukes before though, usually because i'm doing all the work and they just camp in a corner and wait for their harrier/chopper/pavelow to get kills... :(

i call the tactical boost. i have seen it done more than a dozen times and maybe one of them was legit, Just check the person who did it and you'll see his friend on the other team with 20+ deaths. Or you'll notice someone on the opposite team leaves rite before it happens. people do it on ground wars dom all the time. they get to the other team by leaving and joining there friends match a few seconds before the match starts. I hate it
my highest killstreak is 16 and my average is about 8 so i cant get them. i dont have it unlocked yet anyway. the highest i have unlocked is the ac130 which i regret coz its too slow to fire

I find it this game is better then the ones you say, but it's not "Better" It's just what suits you.
umm the pavelow bug thing is actually pretty weird ive noticed that it can count towards your kills is that after you call it in if YOU get a kill using YOUR gun then the pavelow kills will count towards killstreaks. But if the pave low gets the first kill after being called in they dont.

Dude listen.... no one cares. I LOVED Fallout 3. I LOVED GTA IV. I LOVED Half Life. I LOVE MODERN WARFARE 2!!! JUst stop posting on this forum if you feel that way. Obvious troll is obvious.
I unlocked the nuke yesterday, and since then I've gotten two of them. Like others have said, all you need is your harrier to get 4 kills and you're pretty much set for a nuke.

Amen. there are better killtreaks (AC130 ftw). though i have gotten past 25 a couple of times, i never was sad that i didnt have the nuke. i was jsut happy flying around shooting people!

Have you used one yet? I find calling in a nuke very satisfactory. It's a huge rush to finally get up there and then call it in.
i myself have come so close to getting a nuke but i still havent gotten it yet. i had a 30 kill streak but i forgot to put the nuke on in deathstreaks..my friend that i always play with got 2 nukes back to back games and then a few days later got it 3 games in a row. i dont know how he does it but you should have heard the people in the lobby. they were saying that it was cheap he did that after the first one. the second one they were like wow this kid is cheating. then the third time nobody talked in the lobby and then someone out of nowhere goes.."hey your pretty good" haha
I haven't had one myself, but playing in a public team deathmatch had 3 rounds in a row end with a nuke - no boosting or glitching, just regular play. I got an "irradiated" banner or something like that after the 3rd one
0 haha im not a great player my highest kill streak ever was 13 and my D/K ratio is an average 0 but to me its not about the deaths its about the kills
My highest killstreak has been 17 so far (at lvl 67+ using an akimbo 1887 and riot shield I usually kill 15 people without dying until one sniper gets tired of me for running like a mad man through all the map and kills me by shooting me in the foot).
Last week I got 17 but had to change my weapon 3 times (because of having no bullets) and finally died because there wasn't any weapon near me and I was getting sorrounded :S
I have none...but i actually dont ever turn the nuke on and even if it was on my highest killstreak is 20 but the match ended when i was using my AC-130

IW already stated that there was no way of getting a nuke on a crate so yeah, LIES.
I know this thread is very old but to those of you who still play MW2 and are still in need of nukes here is how i get mine: 1. Correct weapons: The weapons that prove best for collecting a nuke are either the UMP45, ACR, Intervention or RPD. These are my favorites but different players might prefer others. 2. Correct Attachments + Perks: Both help massively when getting nukes, i usually use silencers with one man army pro, stopping power and ninja pro. Also using claymores and stun grenades. 3. Correct Killstreaks: The killstreaks you want to be using are: Harrier Strike (7 Kills), then Pave Low/Chopper Gunner/AC130 (9,11,11 Kills), then obviously the nuke. Once you have your first killstreak slow down a bit and try not to get into any combat, let your killstreaks get your kills. 4. Do Not Panic: When your close to the endgame (Around 20 Kills), dont start to panic and try to get the kills as quick as possible otherwise you make silly mistakes. Make sure to stick with teams mates and allow then to go into buildings etc first. If you find yourself on one side of the map whilst the rest of your team are on the other then its likely enemies are near so be careful. I personally have had 29 nukes and always follow these steps to getting another one, most importantly if you get a nuke DO NOT let it off untill near the end of the game as it is unfair on the other players. Anyone who says they have had 200+ nukes is a complete liar, and lastly people who say 'nukes are pointless i never have that killstreak on' really mean 'i cant get nukes'. Nukes are great, they show you are the best in the lobby and so what if it cuts a game short? the next game will start in about 2 minutes so just chill.
There was only one time I could have gotten it but I didnt have it as a killstreak, I did really good even though I only got 20 and 0 once probably because I was one of the only people who played the game legit. I guerentee 98 percent of the people on here who post any number of times they got it they were cheating.
I lost count after 150, at which point I decided to just stop keeping track of it within my Bio. Nukes stop being entertaining after one month after release.
Either thats a complete lie or you've cheated. I've been playing a while and only had 29 all legit against random players not my friends. Its funny how alot of people say they have got 100+ nukes and yet ive only ever seen 3 nukes set off that werent mine. Liar.
