my 360 just burned my lost planet disc!!!!

I bought a used copy of lost planet loaded it up and it froze. So took it back thinking it was the disc. The second did the same thing and froze. Today with the 3rd disc i checked it over really well at the store, i get it home it starts playing and freezes after the 1st level. I look at the disc and there is a 1 inch area where the disc looks a different color and is really warm! RRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrr, I just want to play lost planet and now I am scared to put any of my games in my 360. I am within my 3 year warranty will microsoft cover the game as well? Is this part of rrod? My last one when it crapped out just couldnt play disc and froze on the 360 logo.......

First of all i want to say, great message.

Second of all, I think its covered. The damages are being done by the Xbox, so it is their responsibility. But it is very unlikely that the disc is only burned on one square inch, because the laser is constantly spinning, so the damage should be in a circle...

Well, least it didn't do it to a good game. :D

But in all seriousness, that problem is only covered under the one year warranty.

Now that's a problem. A big one,lol.
