Are you worried the multiplayer won't be any good and that is something you are looking for? Or are you just worried it will get bad reviews or a slew of haters? If it's the former, then you may have cause for concern, but if it's the latter, don't worry about what others will think as that shouldn't affect your gaming experience.

I have a feeling GTA 4 won't even live up to the hype it better though and most likely I won't play multiplayer because it's going 2 kill the series(which im a huge fan of)... just one question though why is it that now EVERY GAME has to have mp or else it won't get scored as high?

This game is gonna be awesome with or without mp but i wish they would have included airplanes, but i guess that would aloow us to reinact terrorism if you wanted, so i guess they dont want that.

GTA is one of those games that is so entertaining in the single-player that I've never thought about playing it in multiplayer. I think regardless of what the MP is like, the game itself is going to be awesome. GTA has always set the bar high and seemed to exceed anything people could expect, and I look for it to be a heck of a lot of fun. I'm a little naive though, does anyone know when it's slated to come out? I thought it was going to be March, but I'm far from an expert.

i think it is a bad idea that they are putting multiplayer into it. i really hope they don't spend so much time on multi that they take away from the single player.

i don't think that will happen but i probably won't be playing multiplayer myself.

Multiplayer is unimportant to the overall value of GTA4. It will just be there, if its bad don't play it, it isn't like the single player won't be good. And if the MP is good then its a plus. But either way online can either add to the game or not change a thing. So just stop worrying about it people seem to be worrying far too much if this game will be good. Worst case scenario it is just another GTA which is still very good.
