My girl-friend's friend downloaded a Microsoft Generator, and she says it "dissapeared" on her as soon as she double clicked it. Is that bad? Nothing has happened so far, but she is afraid her computer has a virus on it. She has a cheap antivirus named "Malwarebytes Anit-Malware", and it is showing nothing. Help me help her...

You shouldn't post this on the 360 board.

That being said, Panda antivirus allows you to scan your pc online (this is helpful if a virus is already on your pc and prevents your antivirus to find it or new antivirus to be installed).

Meh. If they do get thier details stolen, it's not like they didn't deserve it.

Their own fault, should have just bought the points instead of being a tight idiot. They'll brobably just get their GT stolen as i assume they would have had to put their account details in to generate points.

Thanks. =D Turned out there was no virus, but someone tried to get into her firewall. She was smart enough to note down the IP:

Oh yes, of course, I would wait until after the 14 days of holiday sales to steal microsoft points. And I bought Castle Crashers and Battlefield 1943 4 days ago without this, but now I want to be a thief. Perfect common sense. I hate people who just do not trust other people, so much mistrust.

This does not belong on the 360 forums due to the fact it has nothing to do with the Xbox 360. :)
