hello,

i have an xbox one of the first to come out, its always been shot i could tell but never too bad. recently its ruining my games and i have never EVER changed teh position of the system while it was on. For example sweet madden just came out oh wait i cant play it anymore? The system actaually scratched it i looked at it today and its shot all it does is say the disc cant read when im almost done with a game. No i have not changed the position if your wondering yet again it seems thats all there is to blame it on? I called microsoft and they "service" guy was trying to CONVINCE me that it was my fault my games are ruined and that oh i can fix it for only 99 dollars? I already payed 500 (remember this was wen it first came out) i dont see why microsoft cant friggen help me out here i did nothing to the system its not my fault they can sell a decent **** product. Is there even a way i can fix the discs?

Yep, most places don't charge very much to buff them. Like $2 per disc for my local store. I think that is your best option.

it doesn't matter if u move it or not u always have to take the disc out if u r not playing. the very first xbox was bad about that the pro or elite does not have that. my first one **** my graw. even for the new one u can't move it even though u already said that

Well, if your one year warranty is up, then you are outta luck on free repairs unless you get the RROD and then you will be covered. You could try using a different position for your 360. Such as if you have it vertical try it horizontal, and vice versa. Microsoft has used many different disc drives so different ones act differently.

my friend's xbox does the same exact thing. Most of his games are killed by now
