How can i get my sound with a pc monitor? The games look so great but i cant play without sound man! Whats the easiest way to get sound, for example, how do i get to use headphones? My monitor has no speakers so i cant use those. Sorry for the noobie question but this is totally new to me....
The way I'm doing it is using an extra set of PC speakers with a 3.5mm headphone jack. If you buy the official Xbox 360 VGA cables it comes with an adapter that has female RCA jacks on one side that plugs into the VGA cables audio out cords, and has a 3.5mm jack on the other side. All I'm using is a 3.5mm female coupler that plugs into the 3.5mm jack on the adapter, then the other end plugs into the speakers 3.5mm jack. Here are links for the parts
