Need some opinions, bit of a problem

Holla peeps, I am in a small predicament and would very much like some opinions. I downloaded GTA San Andreas off of XBOX live, works fine. My friend, who doesn't have access to xbox live asked me if it would be ok to put his HDD into my console and download it, which we did. However it doesnt work on his console.

I understand that there is an issue with licensing here, which I foolishly didn't check out before hand. I was wondering if there is a way to enable him to play the game offline on his console? And is there a way that will still let me play offline on mines? I would very much appreciate some input.

I think it has to be tied to the gamertag you bought it with. So you have to have him use your gamertag too. I might be wrong though.

Naw, because basically what you are trying to do is pirate the game.(no offence) MS tends to frown on such activities.
