okay so if im going to get this new xbox and HDD thatcomes with it...is it possible to tranfer me save on my other 10g HDD to this new one...because if you cant then...wtf?

You absolutely can - it comes with a transfer cable specifically for that purpose.

 Even if you buy the HDD separate (for about $189.99 CAD, I believe), it still comes with the cable.

Sorry, just a little correction. I'm assuming that you already have a console and a HD and are thinking of getting the new Elite that comes with the 120gb HD, and you wish to transfer the data from one to the other. If this is so, my post from another thread should answer your question:

 I think it was on Major Nelson's podcast, they were talking about this and they said that because there is an issue with certain content being tied to the console they are working on a solution for those gamers who are not only switching their HD but also their consoles.
