New Info of MGS4

Some people might know I was always saying this would never happen. But there are so many damn rumours I simply can't deny it's not a possibillity anymore. And Kojima not handeling the port makes it seem somewhat legit, since he was heavily against bringing it to any other platform then PS3.

I just hope it's true.

its also on gametrailers, which is by far the most credible. if it does not come to 360, i'll buy a PS3.

I got the magazine in yesterday's mail. This is my first opportunity to make the post with the magazine in front of me.

That part got me too. If this is true then they must be paying attention to how Tecmo is porting Ninja Gaiden and DOA. With Ninja Gaiden it is made by Team Ninja, but ported by a completely different team (of course there is a new game for the DS which may prove me wrong in this). The man behind Team Ninja if i remember correctly said he only makes game for Microsoft consoles. So some other team handling the port doesn't seems like it could be a lot more legit than other rumors.

There were a lot of people that denied the idea that the xbox360 had hardware issues as well. Oh yeah, and that DMC would ever come to the 360, or VF5, or GTA... you get the point.rgsniper1

DMC went to 360 cuz its capcom and everyone knows they're in M$ pocket. VF5 i always saw going to 360 from the start and who cares anyway cuz PS3 still has tekken which is loads better. and GTA everyone knew was going to 360 like previous GTA's had gone to Xbox, its just that no one expected it so soon.

And MGS4 is not going to Xbox 360.

This is actually what i always thought would happen because i knew konami had no problem bringing it to the 360 but kojima didn't want to be involved.

The port will suck, MGS is Kojima and will prob come a year later like a substance thing like MGS2 for the Xbox, that one sucked Kojima wasnt part of that team, End this thread its not news, Jesus Kojima himself came to America to prove its exlcusuive, but what ever, leave this game alone and stop fantazing till Konima them selfs confrim this, not some shadow figure in the konima "offices". it would be nice, but the if kojima's name isnt on it, and its a MGS game, they are usually crap. twin snakes was a crap game to any MGS fan, and the acid games are freggin card games. so yea, you get the point...Mandingo101

This is different. It's a port. Twin Snakes was a new game of an old story made by Silicon Knights (it wasn't crap by the way). But MGS4 to 360 would be a port so Kojima would still have made it, even though he's not part of porting the game.

I'm a MGS fan and if this is true I won't have to get a PS3. So I have my fingers crossed.

I'm sorry not all of us are rich like you and can't dish out 500 dollars just to play 1 video game. You know us high schoolers with jobs get paid SO much money that 500 is pocket change for me.

im 18 and just finished high school in june, 500$ isnt exactly pocket change but you can get it if you have a decent job, granted something like on mcdonalds level isnt gonna get you the money fast but if you dont have bills to pay it isnt that hard to save up 500 imo, plus its not like the ps3 only has 1 game, theres a bunch of others that look good too, but anyway all im saying is i really doubt a port of mgs4 thats not made by kojima and his team would be as good as the ps3 version, if you really want mgs4 that bad you'd get the ps3 for it and pick up the other games that look good as well

That doesn't really matter. It's not a different game like MGS and The Twin Snakes. It's a port. So it's very much the same game Kojima was lead designer in, he just won't be part of porting it (if the rumour is true that is).

So, it wouldn't be that inferior. In all ports there is something lost in the process, but other then that it will be the same.

But if it does come to the 360 is it even worth it. I mean if Kojima the brains behind the operation has nothing to do with it, the port might not meet his high standards.MGS9150

well how wrong could they go they would just be bringing the game over and making it work on teh 360 its not like they are deving it from the ground up or something

The "main guy" from team ninja is working on the ds game. he said the reason he picked the ds over the psp is becuase of its touch controls.
