Mass Effect is something that I really love, and I will definitely take a look at this. BioWare should be commended for releasing this as well as working hard on the sequel.

Why would you be happy about how quiet they are? If anything it should be advertised more well, just to help sales out a little. But maybe they're beyond that by now. But I'm thinking about buying Mass Effect again just to get the downloadable content. And for the record, it is available through the 360 also, it was on the main dash of the Xbox 360.

I haven't gotten either DLC for it, however I'm very impressed that it's only 5 dollars for it. I heard the first was a little short but this one is supposed to have 2-3 hours of extra content and it's only 5 dollars. There are companies releasing DLC such as 3 maps for games and they're charging twice that much. I'm impressed with Bioware's handling of it.

It's about bloody time. They promised a bunch of DLC for the previous game, released Bringing Down the Sky (or whatever it was called), and went silent before announcing the sequel. This DLC should be free as an advertisement of sorts, to spur interest in the sequel. I'll wait until I hear more about it before I drop five bucks.
Has anyone played it yet and if so what's it like? Also, are there any restrictions to when you can go to it other than being a Spectre and having a ship to get there?
im a huge mass effect fan, its my favorite game. however this dlc was kind of dissapointing. It just did not feel like I was playing mass effect. There was no diologe really.... it was just combat simulations, and thats it. I actually liked the first dlc better than this one because there was some story to it. I think it was still worth the 400 points, but this dlc is just not mass effect esc.....

Any good rewards or equipment for completing it besides achievements. Not really. You have your choice of a weapon, but they aren't all that good. I found the DLC to be fun, but it didn't have the same feeling that made me like Mass Effect in the first place.

From the way you worded that they probably won't replace the Spectre X weapons that every one of my possible sqaudmates has. I'll probably still pick it up though. I love Mass Effect and 150 achievement points is decent.
