I would say it if looks like something you like get it! There is an easy difficulty so just start on that and work your way up. If your worried about the missing out on the story dont because the story is non existent, its all about the action which is great.

The story in NG2 is almost nonexistant. There's nothing that you missed from before really, what they mean is that this game isn't for Casuals. It's PUNISHING. You will literally be trying to snap your controller in 2, even on the easiest of settings. With that said, it's one of the best action games in existance. If you can make it through, you'll be hooked for life trust me.
