but as a family system, Nintendo will always rule that section of next gen gaming, but I hope the best for all gaming companies!GamingDragons
Even though I've NEVER owned a Nintendo(nor do I plan to)system in my life this is the ABSOLUTE truth. Nintendo has been smart enough to let it's competitors bash each others brains out while they quietly consume CHUNKS of market share. lol

They may release it in 2012 if MS thinks Nintendo's next system is going to be serious competition.LoserMikewhen has a console come out 2 years into the next gen and been successful? if nintendo's console comes out this year, microsoft's will come out next year. Accept it.

Dude, really? You've been missing out. :D Although personally I think the Wii was the worst console they ever released... The motion controls were actually pretty cool but just the technical aspects and possibilities of the system were (and certainly aren't) impressive. If their next system competes with the competition on a technical level again, I will surely get one along with the new Xbox.[QUOTE="MarcRecon"]

How many years have you been gaming? Nintendo has many of the most iconic franchises in all of entertainment (that's right, not just all of GAMING, all of ENTERTAINMENT). You are really doing yourself a disservice, but to each his own. That said, the Wii is meh. Nintendo needs to not only match all of the features available in the other systems this gen, but come up with new innovative features for people to buy it.

But that raises the question - is this new console really the signal of a next-gen? It's debateable.
I hope to never see a new xbox..the 360 is fine...all they need to do is make updated versions. well I don't like it because I have only been on xbox live for a little over a year so I don't want to lose my achievements and all my gamesaves and xbox live account by buying a new xbox.Xbox360Gamer15
I'm almost positive you'll be able to transfer your account and achievements over to the next Xbox.

Accept it. SNES. Genesis came out in 1989, Turbo Grafx-16 came out in 1988, and the SNES came out in 1991. The 16-bit generation was the most competitive but the SNES came out on top by 1995. You could also say the same thing about the PlayStation if you considered the start of the 32/64-bit generation as the 3DO, which came out in 1993. The PlayStation came out in 1995.

At the very least you will be able recover it onto the new box. You could from Xbox to Xbox 360 so I don't see why not. Please Log In to post.
