Are they coming out with a ninja gaiden for the xbox360 because ps3 is getting one, but its like the first 1 with a little extra things. I remember they talked about making a second 1 in 05 or 06. what do u think??????Gre3nWorldThey redid th whole thing, new models, new textures, new engine, new chapters, new weapons, new moves etc. Its hardly "a little extra". As long as it isnt to big it should be portable to the 360 without to much hassle.

They have put a new gloss on everything and added Rachel as a playable character, that's it really. It really is only "a little extra" and definitely not enough to make me run out and buy the game again. Sigma is in no way a sequel or anything to get upset about, instead be happy that Sony fans finally get tossed a bone, they have to be tired of only playing Resistance for the past few months. Ninja Gaiden 2 will be out in due time. I can't wait for it personally, NG rocked through and through. They can take as long as they need to far as I'm concerned, I want an excellent ninja experience for my buck.

No, you said "they redid the whole thing" which is very different from adding a new gloss. The models are still basically the same, just "upgraded" to 720p, whatever that means. Honeslty I doubt its any better than the upscaling we get from playing NG on the 360. It is still 95% the same game, nothing to get excited about. Its definitely not a "new engine" either, unless you mean the huge changes that come with jerking the controller around like an idiot to power up some move, have fun with that. Personally, I hope we don't get a port of Sigma. Time to let the old NG go and really get to work on the next installment.
Ain't it the truth. Seems like a lifetime since NG. You would've thought such a popular and good franchise would get a new sequel. NG 2 and KOTOR 3 should already be announced and made.Â

True, even the graphic aren´t so impressive, comparing them to the Xbox1 version.
itagaki (spelling?) has already said in interviews that ng2 is in the "planning stages" and that was a while ago... he's also said that he will only develop on the 360. sorry, i don't have links, but you could probably find it on these boards somewhere, that's where i saw the videos from.

They've been working on Ninja Gaiden for a while now I think but I don't think he ever confirmed that he would only work on the 360. When he announced sigma for the PS3 alot of people were asking him is Ninja Gaiden 2 would be 360 exclusive or would go multiplatform. He said something along the lines of "Xbox will always be my true home, it's where I've always been with DOA and Ninja Gaiden." I would expect that it would atleast be released for 360 first with a PS3 version possibly following later unless Microsoft decide to throw some extra cash his way to make it exclusive. Itagaki has already worked on DOA3 and DOA:XBV for the 360 so I'd imagine he has alot more experience with the 360 hardware than the PS3. Sigma I believe is being handled by someone else.
