Agreed, except I like Yoda. But we havent seen any gameplay of him fighting. I have high hopes for it. Jumping, spinning, force powers. Its gunna be a blast.

I personally don't care that PS3 got Vader. I like Yoda so much better :-P

what's wrong with the dark side. Vader is an icon, a legend. Yoda got owned by Darth sidious. Boba Fett would have been a better choice for the 360. Oh well too bad.RawhideSphinx

I remember Yoda owning Sidious. First he pushed the guy upside down in his chair, and the battle after that Yoda won every round. But Episode 3 was a **** movie and for some unexplained reason Yoda took off, he could have easily won the fight had he continued.

VaderMay be bad ass, but Yoda is awsome, he's like the ultimate Jedi Master. I just hope that they actually pay attention to the movies and give yoda more force power moves whereas vader will be more based on agressive attacks... I'm a nerd I know :)

Yoda will be better for how I play. I'm pretty sure Vader will be one of the fighters who is really strong, but painfully slow. I hate characters like that. Yoda might not have the same strength as Vader, but he's gonna move like lightning. Thats the characters I usually play as. I need speed.

If they use the movies, almost nobody will use force powers. Jedi don't really fight using the force. When darth maul had his fiht against obi-wan and qui-gon, he was using his saber, but he'd toss objects at doors to unlock them and he'd push people if he had the chance. Yoda didn't really do that if he had his saber out. The emperor fought with Sabers, but when he got in the proper environment, he was all force. When Luke face Vader in Ep5, he was chucking stuff at him all day.

Jedi don't like to use the force for offensive attacks so I doubt we'll see them do that in the game. On a sidenote, thats always been a weakness of Jedi. The Sith master all aspects of the force. Jedi pretend like 50% of it doesn't exists and impose limits on what they will learn. Using lightning doesn't make you a Sith, so I've never grasped why the Jedi don't leaern this and other techniques that would be useful to them. Its like trying to become a math expert, but you say you're not gonna learn subtraction and multiplication... just division and adding.

I'm a bit sour too about not weilding the sith lord'sweapon of choice, but seriously... do you even know about Star Wars?! :| If Vader was "god", then Yoda would belike... the ultra god :P
Either way, I'm simply looking forward to a solid fighterwith decent online play. Ifthey can offer a lot more in the customization mode and some extra goodies hereand there I'll be happy to scoop up this SC.

do you not know the fan base of star wars. if they "reinvented" Vader in any shape or form someone would have seriously been killed or wounded badly. that's like going after the president WHILE he's surrounded by secret service. there would have been casualties

Personally I could care less about both Vader, or Yoda... I'd rather have Chewy!:D But anyhow I think the Star Wars characters are a silly choice for this game. They should have at least picked some characters that more fit the Sol Calibur Universe. Dante-Devil May Cry, Kain or Raziel- Legacy of Kain, Heck even Kratos from God of War or something to that effect...

That hurts the 360 version big time, Id rather have Vader than Yoda any day. hillelslovak

Has anybody noticed that Yoda is green, and Vader is black, 360 is green, PS3 is black, it just makes sense people, although I own a 360 I'd rather play as Vader, so yes, ouch.
