Now after a few months: 3DS dead on arrival? NGP on the way?

I've had mine since launch and I bought SFIV, Nintendogs+Cats, and Pilotwings. I literally have not played it since mid April and I'm not even excited about any of the games coming up except for the new Zelda (I've never played OOT). After this kind of lame duck intro to Nintendo's new handheld I'm kind of looking forward to the NGP. What about you guys?
