should i buy the 360 now or later? Now and risk a crappy machine or get the "better machine" later. If i get one now i can get a newer one with that new chip in if it were to break down within 3 years though right?
I would get the Xbox 360 now, and have fun. I just got mine, and I'm getting the extended warranty through Microsoft. Microsoft has you covered for 3 years should your 360 ever have the dreaded "Red Ring of Death."
Brother wait till later and get a better system thats what I plan to do. I'm gonna wait for those chips to be installed in the machines. I don't care about Halo and not being able to play it when it launches, I care about the quality of my machine. I can get halo anytime and play online whenever. However you can do what you want man, I already know what I'm doing. And nobody is going to change my plan.
My suggestion is the route I'm taking which is wait. Not for the hardware, which the 3 yr warrenty finaly made me feel better about, but for a special deal. CC has the year of Live Gold this week, TRU fequently does package deals with a free game. If you can get a deal get it.
In the meantime, I've been picking up used 360 and x-box games that I know I want so that I have plenty to play when I get my system without it feeling like I just put of $600.
