Well, I've had my 360 since January 26th and have had not a problem in the world since. Although just today, I was setting up a Live match for GRAW when it just freezes. The funny thing is I was supposed to receive my two year warranty from microsoft about two weeks ago and I still do not have it...funny how things work out. Should I be concerned? I've had my 360 since launch date and yesterday after downloading the outfit demo it really started freezing up on me. Now my 360 is having trouble connecting with xboxlive and freezes up on me 50% of the time when im viewing my recent player list and friends and messages. The thing is....it only froze up rarely when i first got it. It seems that its just hits hard outta nowhere. If i was you i would send it in but you most likely have a couple of good months left in it. About the warranty....i bought my 2 year warranty a month after the purchase and they still havent sent me anything. When i called up and asked about it they said that my serial number was in the system even though i havent recieved anything in the mail. As long as you have the xbox warranty reference number they gave you then its all good.
I purchased mine about 2 weeks ago. It freezes a lot with NHL 2k6 (360 version) and Madden 06 (360 version).
It doesn't seem like a hardware problem though. It seems more like the application hangs. I wrote it off to the two games being Xbox ports and some flakey coding. I'm surprised GRAW is freezing. That is a bit concerning.
I dont know, I would be worried. I got meh 360 on the launch date, and it was fine until i started playing pgr 3. After about two days of pgr, it froze and froze evertime i raced, so i just rebeat san andreas. it worked fine. it has been fine since then until two nights ago. i was playin online GRAW and it froze up on me. i played for like 2 hours the next morning, thenit froze, and has froze everytime i tried anything since then. now ALL the sectors are blinking red!!! sometimes the box doesnt even turn on, and it freezes for ALL games and dvds. CAN SOMEONE give me any advice? im thinkin it might be the lense or somthing. and the best gun in graw is the SCAR LCQC
yea i triple checked all the cables just now. is it possible that there is faulty wiring underneath? also, the thing makes all kinds of "new" noises when i start it up, and there is no visual on the tv screen.

My Xbox has frozen a couple of times online and once or twice offline. So you would expect a more sophisticated console to freeze !!
I got a new 360 becuz my first one died. With the second one I have only experienced 4 or 5 freezes and they have all been during an xbox live game or when playing BC xbox games. I wouldn't be too concerned, unless it starts happening more frequently.

call 1-800-4MY-XBOX... Ask if they have put the 2 year service plan on your account..... i never got the return mail thing telling me that i have the service plan... but when i called in the lady said the warrenty is good till Jan or febuary 2008
The last time I played GRAW the game locked up on me during an online match. If lock ups only happen once and a while, I wouldn't be too concerned. If they are happening everytime you play, then there is something wrong for sure. Sounds like you shouldn't worry.

Mine only freezes when i make it do to much... examples:
1: Playing PGR3, Lisnin to Custom soundtracks, Playing on Live and trying to view someones profile.
2: Playing GRAW Online, Just gotten dissconnected from a room and trying to join a friend when the game he is in doesnt exiest anymore....
other then that mine only freezes now and then lol....
OO!!! has anyone else ran into that glitch in single player > hard mode Where everything goes black excpt for the trees, cars, and HUD?
when I had my first 360 I was playing GRAW single player and it did that and my 360 died. It does it when Im playing a live match in rainbow six vegas so I wouldnt be too worried
