Ok my friend keeps trying to convince me to buy a 360, Oblivion and Assassins Creed. I've heard a few bad remarks to both games, but I still dont know what to think yet. Do any of you think that they are worth buying ? I'm just asking because I'm going to buy a 360 soon and dont know what games I should get for it.

You can always start by reading reviews here on the site. That should definitely give you an insight about games.

As for the Oblivion, if you like RPGs, this is like the granddaddy. Just be prepared to sacrifice _a lot_ of time playing it because it is big! I loved it.

Assassin's Creed was also a good game. It got a little bit too repetitive for my taste, but it was still good. Ending was very weird though.

Lol yeah I probably should've, but I didn't see any and there's quite a few pages to look through so i didn't think it'd hurt to post one lol.

Yeah, my friend absolutley loves them and him and a few other people talk about them alot. If it's that time consuming, it sure aint different from World of Warcraft then, lol cuz thats an addicting game as well as time-consuming.

Oblivion was a great game. If you've never played the game Morrowind, then don't listen to everyone who says that it's better an Oblivion sucked. It was a great RPG, and debating on how much you love your RPGs, you could play the game for a long time.

As for Assassin's Creed, I enjoyed the game, however, you do the same thing about 12 times over, or whatever the number of people you had to kill was. Game was actually a decent length too. I did everything I could with it and beat it my first time at around 20 hours.

Both are great games, but out of the two I would recommend Oblivion...
Assassin's creed would be a cool game to get when it's extremely cheap soon, and you can just keep going back to and doing an assassination or two, otherwise it's a bit repettetive.

Oblivion is a keeper. It will provide you with at least 2 years of gameplay and it still looks better than most of today's games.

Oblivion is a great game that will last you a long time. But I thought Assassin's Creed was too repetitive. The first couple Assassinations were fun but after that it just got so routine.
