I've had small problems with games crashing in the past, GoW used to every now and then and XBL would on rare occassions, but with Oblivion the game crashes every time I play it. Only once did I get the "Disc is unreadable" error with Oblivion. Every other time the console has just frozen up. I know a freeze is coming when I hear the disc stop spinning. Is there any way to fix this or am I headed for sending in the console to be fixed?
No, cause if you remove the hard drive, and nothing freezes up, then that's the problem. Start a new game and all, see how long you can get in it before problems happen.

It gives me "the disc is unreadable" with that game. It also happens with Madden and happens right after I have a great game... It hasnt happened in a while. *knock on wood*
That usually happens when you jump through doors (or when you go to open doors while jumping) also do you have XBL to download the new updates?DarthMalak98
Gah, no. I mean, I can, but I just haven't gotten around to it. It's really hard for me to hook up to XBL because I have to run an ethernet cable from my router, tape it across my wall, over the door way, and along another wall to get to my 360.
