Oblivion doesn't do a single thing better than Fallout 3.

Agreed. Both are great games in their own right. With Fallout 3, for the first time in a long time I don't feel rushed to finish a game, I'm content to just take my time through the story.
i recently played oblivion again and i had to force myself to beat shivering isles, it was just so boring i couldnt care any less for the story and the characters are VERY boring (the madgod dude was pretty cool tho) and could go on and on about what makes fallout 3 a better game but to be fair, they were able to fix alot of their mistakes with fallout.
to summarize, oblivion, to me, aint got **** on fallout 3
and to be honest it seems more like ur just trying to anger poeple. mainly cause u dont list ANY reasons why you think its better and you saying it more like a statement rather than an opinion, just a though.
Oblivion = 7.5/10 for me. While its a good, game its very overrated and the worst in the elderscrolls series
Fallout 3 = 9/10 for me. I loved the old fallout games and i was worried about this one, but its great!
I definatly dissagree with you man, Oblivion had so many problems and Fallout is just a better game (much better story, better combat, much better atmosphere and better/more rpg elements).
I dont like neither of themThEmAk_XDThat means you do like them, Mr. Doubleneg. Anyway Fallout3 is a much better crafted game. There is no comparison.
does anyone agree?XxABIHxX
I love Fallout 3 but I also loved ES:O. I haven't played F3 enough to make a decision yet.
I used to argue that oblivion was the best RPG and singal player game on the 360, but now im curretnly think Fallout 3 is better at immerssing you into the game, well only if your playing it on very hard like me. However, this may be because i played oblivion for like 800 hours and im just sick of it lol. But i really really like the fact that this is a survial/rpg/shooter. Although, i dont think i played oblivion right to begin with, i got into grinding my level and skills and then self degearted the longevity of teh game that way. None the less if i view both games from the fresh prespectavitves, i would have only liked fallout 3 slightly more than oblvion insofar as immerrsion is conscerned. But the beauity, size and breath of Oblivion is not matched by Fallout IMO. Therefore, even though i may be slighltly liking fallout better than obilivion better at this point it may be do to simple fatiuge of that game plus being estaic over fallout how its kinda like oblivion but done in a whole new way and context and of course is different in many ways. For me to give a conclusinve answer as to which one is better i would have to play this crap out of fallout until i played every mission, quest and game class on very hard and after the dust settles im sure i would look back and say they are both equally the best two singal players games on xbox,Trinitarian

Fallout 3 doesnt have level scalling
totally ruined oblivion for me

What exactly is level scaling? Is that where the AI opponents get harder as you level up?

More or less, yes. It made it hard for you to ever really feel more powerful, no matter how much you level up. The enemies would also get better gear progressively, to the point that rag tag bandits suddenly wore deadric and glass armor, which was beyond stupid. I got to the poiint that I could go out and raid any dungeon, and come back with a dozen glass armor sets, and sell them for mad gold. It was game breaking.I was an Oblivion addict for like 2 years, and I actually enjoy the type of music in the game, so whenever I was fighting some creature I was enjoying the classical music while running the mountains and forests.
Oblivion is an amazing game, you just have to take time with it and not run through the main story first thing.
Fallout 3 is also amazing, giving you that "Oblivion with guns" feel to it along with the added feature of "Good Karma and Bad Karma" adds the mix of Kotor to the game which I absolutely loved.
Both are great games I recommend them both.
