Oblivion V = MMO?

I read somewhere that Bethesda studios was considering making the next Oblivion V as an online mmo for xbox 360 That would be really sick and fun if they do. :D

Just think...an endless killing spree of guards and daedra, only except now with friends! :D

Cool idea, but would it be fully open like WOW? I think it would be really annoying if you get killed all the time or loot taken.

Anyway how would this work on Xbox or PS3, where Bethesda get probably around 3/4 of all sales.

I wouldn't mind seeing an Elder Scrolls MMO, they already have an established gigantic world. MMOs are risky now though, unless your name is World of Warcraft.

I'm SURE they would make a friendly fire option (PvP) on/off

That way even though you would at least even TRY to attack the player and loot their gear, the sword/axe would just go right through them unharmed; or make a "clinging" sound against the armor unharmed.

a 2 player co-op ES game I would love, but an MMO? Hell No.

There is a very low chance it would actually be The Elder Scrolls V(and there is no such thing as Oblivion V). If they make it, it'll probably be called The Elder Scrolls Online or something like that. And I don't remember reading anything about the 360 in the articles.

I highly doubt it'll be next year. That wouldn't give them long enough to work on it. They might have started it, but I doubt they've done enough to release next year.

oh, god, no... I wouldn't mind multiplayer, but making it massively multiplayer would be wrong and would mess up the series in my opinion. TES is all about giving the player the best single player experience possible. even with Bethesda, there's no way it can compete with WOWbulletsword

It would be ok, but I think Bethesda should work on fixing some of their game's problems instead of adding multiplayer.

Actually Bethesda said they have no current plans to make an Elder Scrolls V at all. There have been rumors floating around about an Elder Scrolls MMO, but nothing about it being on the 360.

that would be sick!..of course there would have to be many limits for MMO,like no pvp in towns,chat limits(it would be pretty hard hearing all the people talk at once).Oh that would be awesome if you could fight other people in the arena.Great idea,but it will take ALOT of work,if they consider making it MMO,or even making another elder scrolls...

I have one Elder Scrolls game already, I don't have time for another one, let alone an MMO.

But Bethesta Has to have the most epic graphics I have EVER seen.

bethesda is owned by ID now, so hope they get to borrow the engine from RAGE

I don't think making Oblivion an mmo is good. I hope they would make it a 2-4 player co-op game.

I think playing with a few friends would be a good idea. I don't like the idea of an MMO because enivitably it's goiing to have a monthly fee.
