If anyone played reach yesterday, they might have thought, "why is everyone chucking grenades more than usual?" That was because of a daily challenge to throw grenades like there's no tomorrow to get 8 grenade kills in a game. There are weekly challenges also. I am currently torn on my opinion of them, not knowing if they get in the way of how people play (like in gears when people would only use certain weapons to get the achievements) OR if the challenges are good ways to give players personal goals and keep things fun and fresh.
what do you all think?

the updates keep the game fresh. It provoke replayability like achievements do which are so popular these days. I have no problem with it. If grenades are part of the game play and everyone has them then its not a problem. just because you chuck more grenades doesnt mean there always gonna generate kills. I could pop you in the head and drop you quickly if you miss with the nade.

At least the challenges rotate and aren't on-going. It's a good way though to get more cR for ranking up and armor.
this thread is stupid IMO. its to cluttered and unorganized to contain the threads for reach in one sticky.

Not only that you dont HAVE to do the challenges, honestly it is way faster just to play the match like normal win the game and move on to the next game. ANNNNNNND commendations>challenges

I always thought that excessive grenade throwing was a norm in Halo. But, I guess I don know squat ;)Did I miss something or does is explain the death of the sniper in the group because I never noticed... last I knew in the game he went with the lady that gave them the AI. anyone?ODST573
Jun's fate is up in the air. We don't see what happened to him.
DLC mission?

SPOILERS
I am thinking they died when the convenant took over reach there was quite a bit of explosions and if you watch the start of the game every thing is on fire and laid to waste. They had a hard enough time getting cortana off reach with a huge cannon i just really dont think she or jun made it off reach. There is no mention of either of them in any of the 3 later halo games.
When are people going to stop quiting?
mitu123
When they move the ban time up from 15 minutes to 30 minutes like they did with world of warcraft dungeon quitters.

no, just bad writingI know two things im tired of in Halo Reach.Getting kicked out of a match cause we all have rockets and i just happen to kill my teammate. Now once and for all, could everyone quit tea baggin, it does not make you cool, it will never be cool, just quit.It was the main reason i quit playing halo3 awhile backmrsniper83Teabagging used to bother me but not so much anymore. I just ignore it now. Don't let it stop you from enjoying MP. I agree with the betrayal system. I got booted from a Fire fight match, because a teammate ran into a hunter I plasma sticked. Whatever just gave him a bad rep and hopefully don't come across him again.

Good idea.yes yes it is. it just sucks when you actually need to leave and get put on probation then join a **** match with bad connection so you leave and get banned and panic wondering what if microsoft saw what happened I'M TOO YOUNG TO BE BANNED! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! help me jesus WHY WONT YOU HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! so it's sometimes good sometime's bad :P
I absolutley Love the game. Although I found that this game has some of the worst water graphics/physics ever seen, the actual game plays super well.
Thanks Bungie!

You don't have to do it, but it's so much more fun when you do. Also a few people do it as bragging and be all like a douche about it, but most people mean it in a fun way.
I'm sorry if i'm slightly offtopic, but since its the Halo Reach "keep it all in here"...
just wanted to say that im looking forward to some 4 players coop campaign on legendary,
my GT is Exilium86
Cheers all and soz for offtopic :)
I beat it on legendary by myself, not as hard as it was let on to be. Here is a tip to all that are having trouble with the very last part manning the gun, I jumped off of the gun to avoid getting killed, waited for the big ship to get in position then jumped on the gun and blasted it real quick, it was very helpful seeing the game saved my check point where I had to kill the finial elite every time before I could try the gun sequence again. Awesome game, now I can finially focus on the MP.
is anyone else online and its telling them there are only about 200 players!?!?! What is going on?? because that has to be impossibledrangerr13
It's a glitch to the servers, It happen to Halo 3 a few months ago, not sure about now. They'll more then likely fix it in the update this October.
Do not click spoiler if you did not finish the game.
What happened to Jun, the sniper spartan? He gets on a chopper/pelican with dr halsey and then we see no more of him
