I preordered this a while back, I think in late August of early September. Got it with ODST and got $30 off :) Only paid $90 for 2 unreleased titles. Can't wait though, great thing is we have school off on Wednesday so I can play it all day!

When will the review be posted online? I feel like normally big reviews are posted on sunday night before the game launched.

When can we expect reviews for MW2 to start to come in? Does anyone know?

My review would be 9.25/10, cause i got it on the Seventh.:lol: Campaign=> better than COD 4, Special Ops=>Co-Op missions=Very Good, and Multiplayer=COD 4 or even better. Definetly get it! WaW doesn't compare, similar to 4, butNO LAG!!!

I will tell all you guys right now. It is worth the money. I've been playing it for 2 days on the ps3, and is much more exciting than 4 was.

Nah, I use to game on Xbox 360 back in the day, its been over a couple years since. I gamed online with PSN, but its quality of online service is killing me. And plus the community is also A LOT bigger on live for the multiplats.(No Hate on PSN peoples) Plus I've been saving for a long time. Was going to pick up an elite, but figured for an extra $100 i can get MW2, an extra controller, and a 250GB HDD, which is not bad if you ask me. =)

So apparently Activision isn't allowing any reviews until tomorrow. Bare in mind that I don't have any proof of this, but judging by the fact that Gametrailers has a countdown to their review which will be posted at 1:30 A.M. (CST) I think it's a fair assesment that Activision won't allow a review until tomorrow. It kind of sucks because I wanted to watch the reviews before I got the game (even though I would get the game regardless of what the reviwers say). Oh well.

Awesome thread. I was $20 dollar short to get the Hardened Edition, so I just got the regular one but it did come with a $20 eGift card from Walmart online. I just looked at my order status and it's still processing, so I guess I won't get this on release day. :cry:

Hopefully I'll get it by Friday and play it over the weekend in my days off.

Most likely I'm going to skip it, but during december, COD usually has a price drop from $30-$35. If they do the same this year, I might get.

can you turn the music off in the new COD - in all the other ones when the fighting gets intense the music gets loud and it sucks - also in the multiplayer there is music at about 3 min into the match for no reason at all

how is the new cod is there an option to turn off the music

I want to play a game and I dont want music in my realish FPS's (halo is fine because it is less real with energy weapons and stuff that havent been invented yet) the ones that are sosposta be sorta simulators, if it were real life I dont think I would be listening to my ipod while fighting in a war, but if I were in a futureistic combat armor that has a helmet and full enviromential system then music would be fine since I would probably have some kinda targeting system to help me with shooting and a bad ass shield to protect me
