its fun, but after you beat it (which shouldn't take long) you probably won't go back to it that much. but the beta access is a plus.

if you buy it you are part of the problem in the game industry The game is average, no story and just has the halo 3 beta

Its a good game. Its got pretty good pick-up-and-play style gameplay. It runs and plays very well. You could easily blow through it in under 10 hours but so far with all the exploration, and just goofing around, I've probably come closer to 15-20 so far. If you enjoy jumping puzzles, running around exploring and just fooling around it can increase the value a lot. On the downside there isn't a lot of variety. The city is large but doesn't feel very large since you can jump over everything and run so fast, it makes driving almost completely pointless. Some of the boss fights require solving some basic puzzles but thats about it. Supply points are ridiculously too easy to capture, IMO. But on the whole I would recommend it. Haven't played the co-op yet, but I wish I had another local friend with a 360, seems like a game that would fun to play with good friends co-op but maybe not with strangers on Live.

If you've already got the essentials, Gears, whatever other games you like, this is a great addition to your collection. It's just plain fun, your friends can play it easily for fun nights messin' around. But also consider Xbox Live Arcade games. I heard Castlevania is coming out this week, and theres already great ones out already. If you want the Halo 3 Beta at all though, just go for Crackdown!

If it still has the beta in it, then go for it.

I disagree with this guy. Contrary to what anybody wants to believe I bought it for the game. The beta is just an added incentive. Crackdown is fun as hell. Playing with a friend rocks. And if you like easy achievements, this game has them.

i think its sweet, my opinion is that most who don't like it either haven't given it a chance, or just want to hate it.

And what problem is that? Supporting the game industry?

And yes, Crackdown is worth it.

who said there has to be a story? if anything, saying it has to be just like GTA is watering down the industry more than crackdown does at the moment.
