ok so ive got grid and shift and havent played either once.

i got them as presents but spend most of my time playing burnout paradise and forza 3 . im going to try out grid and shift but arent they basically the same game? which one is better?

I have played the two that you haven't. I don't own them anymore. But Forza 2 &3 and Dirt2 are my favorite racing games out.

i liked shift a bit more, but i would much rather be playing forza 3 then those two combined.

Lol I am kind of in the same situation as you... :P. Except, my brother got Shift for the PS3 and so I only had like a 10 minute playthrough of it. I believe I was playing on Nordshleif / Nurburgring (sp)? although I could be wrong. My brother did get GRID for his Xbox 360 though and I played it for about half an hour... I don't like it for some reason, which apparantly is quite strange as I loved Dirt 1, played a bit of Dirt 2 on his PS3 and love them both. I need Dirt 2 for my 360 though. But yeah, out of the two I would say Shift is more fun from what I have played of both :).
