I read somewhere that the average gamer in the U.S. is in their mid-thirties....so that means there are a lot of gamers over 35 to balance out everyone else.

I play everything! fallout 3 mass effect, cod4 and 5, oblivion, madden, gh and rb. About the only mainstream popular game i dont play is halo and i think its because i didnt have live years ago when i rented it and i didnt like the single player. Will be getting odst though so hopefully i will get into the mp and see what ive been missing. :-)
seems that certain youngsterslack the understandingthat we all eventually age ! Is it hard to imagine mommy and daddy enjoying gaming ?

I think at this point gaming is still so new that its hard to believe that an older person would be gaming since the real groundbreaking games and the attentions theyve brought in the media recently have helped increase the appeal....im sure in about 10-15 years, everyone will be ok with the fact that older folks are gaming since alot more youngsters are growing up with it nowadays

LOL.. when you get to 40, your eyesight, hearing and use of your legs has completely gone, we also go through more diapers than the average todler..but after 'Decades Of Gaming' we can still kick ass.. especially after a good meal from 'meals on wheels' and a good 'bed bath' from the 'home help'.

We have the distinct advantage of seeing the transition between arcade and console... and being old enough to appreciate what that meant at the time. Well... at least I do anyway.
The kids don't know what it's like to stick mylar sheets onto a TV screen to simulate "graphics".
Anyway, I still love my shooters and air combat games.
