i hate repetitive games and every single review says its repetitive im sorry but im canceling my pre order i pray to god that mass effect is good and not repetitive
I have news for you, RPG style games are repetitive....get use to it (and I am sure Mass Effect will have its share of repetetiveness in the dialogue conversations)
I'm also pretty disappointed in the complaints. I wouldn't feel so bad if I thought they were being nit picky. It's a rental for sure. Between CoD4, Mass Effect and Halo 3 my wallet is hurting...it needed a break.
though you may need you flame shield I'm guessing you'll get the typical...thanks for sharing, no one cares, etc...
I wasn't planning on buying it anyways. I'm just a fan of multiplayer games being the reason since they tend to have a more lasting value. AC seems like it would be a good rental though
Why would you not buy a game based on reviews? Just because they have issues with it doesn't mean you won't enjoy it. Use the brain that was provided and decide for YOURSELF. I'm looking forward to picking this up tonight and I'll judge for myself if I like it or not.
Aren't most games repetitive? Repetitive doesn't mean boring. Most games I've played are repetitive (Shooters/sports/racing), but I still enjoy them. So again, decide for yourself and stop lettingothers do the thinking for you.
the thing is...60 bucks is alot of money and I've been pumped for this game and I have it pre-ordered...BUT now I'm on the fence about whether or not to get this game or Call of Duty 4...I played the COD4 beta and absolutley loved it so I know my money would be well spent on that game.
I'm just hesitant to buy it now...I only have cash for 1 game and I want to make sure it is one I will get my moneys worth out of.
yeah well it's not easy for people to pay $60 for ravh of the 100 games that are coming out ,especily when it gets terrible reviews from people who actually know what they're talking about!

Might you be implying that the good reviewers of gamespot, game informer and gametrailers don't know what they're doing?
Why is everyone getting so bent out of shape about this? Not every game site is ripping this apart (and really, is a 7.5-7.7 rating all that bad??). I don't know how trustworthy Game Informer is to you guys, but they gave it a 9.5 for both the PS3 and XBOX360. I personally get the Game Informer mag every month and their Game ratings are the best in my opinion. They have a bigger group of people reviewing the games versus the one or two guys that do the reviews on IGN, Gamespot, 1UP, etc. Trust whoever you want, but I preordered the game, I'm still getting it, and I'm certain that I will love it. Stop overhyping games or having such extreme expectations. It's just a game...not the end of the world.
Okay, Gamespot officially gave Assassins Creed a 9.0 for both the PS3 and XBOX 360...readit...its up now, no BS. So are all of you gonna change your mind now. All the one's complaining better shut up now that GS gave it a good score. To be honest, I'm quite suprised at the GS score and I can't wait to pick this game up.
