Ok so i got the E74 Error on my launch 360 console yesterday, after opening it and fixing it it worked for about 5 mins then it gave me the RROD. =(

So I reopened it and and fixed again and tala! it worked for only a minute and it turned off and BOOM! i get a two red lights, which means overheated.

So i reopen it and try to see whats up? and nothing, everything is perfectly fine but it still gives me the overheating lights when its perfectly cool, wtf!?!?

Anyone know whats wrong?

You shouldn't have opened it. Now you voided your warranty...

I don't think he had one in the first place as his console is 4 years old.

i removed the x-clamp a whiles ago and replaced them with normal screws...worked like new, so i'm assuming rubber washers?

Well i remember my 1st-launch 360 used to get so hot-even the casing, that i could've fried an egg on it-and it eventually got the rrod.

Sounds like yours has just gone into meltdown.
