Gears of War

GTA4

Halo 3

COD4 or

Team Fortress

require harddrives for online? and if so which ones?

p.s. is the only thing required for online play an ethernet cable and xbox live gold subscription?

I just wanna make sure I have everything necessary for online play

You need a HDD period just to get on xbox live.

In order to play ANY games on xbox live, you're going to need a hard drive and a xbox live gold subscription. Plus of course the ethernet cable, obviously.
