opened xbox

i got my xbox off some guy on eBay and it broke so i shipped it back to him and he "fixed" it. but i found out that i can send it to MS to have it fixed so i got a box and am going to ship it out this week.....the problem is that it was opened. so what will Microsoft do when the receive it??????

well first off did the advert on ebay say anything about it being fault in anyway? if not you should inform ebay of what has happend, there must be someway you can get your money back

Depending on your Location Play N Trade can fix it for you. If your confident in your technical skills you can try the X-Clamp method. Also like stated before if the sticker is TORN you can use these methods. If the sticker is INTACT on it you can send it to microsoft. Just curious you said you had a 360 that kept getting RROD and you kept using the towel trick. Just an FYI if you havent opened it you can still send it in to MS. They really cant tell if you did the Towel Trick, Unless you tell them. Hopefully this was of some help to you.
