It'll take around 2 weeks... Prepare to develop patience. I actually upgraded to the Elite RE Bundle too and I've sent in for my transfer kit. Microsoft says on their site something like 10-14 bus days. We'll see, haha!
I'm so sick of MS, not only to I have to send in for a flippin transfer kit, but my wireless headset just broke and I have to pay to send it in...After already sending in my wireless controller twice! Those people in McAllen, TX are morons.
It's quicker if you just call them, I had one within a week when I upgraded to a 60GBScarface_tm431I have spoken to them on the phone about this and they told me to just fill out the form. lame. what did you have to do?

Ditto, the dude was a jerk and lied about his name too.... I don't care if your from India, but don't treat me like I'm a moron who knows your name isn't Brian! Not with that accent my friend!
Do you guys know if the transfer will work for a 60gb HD? All I have read has been a 20 -> 20 or a 20 ->120 but nothing about the 60. I am planning on buying the RE5 Elite but they are selling like hotcakes so I might just go with another Pro.

Yes, you can transfer to any hard drive as long as it is not smaller than the one you are transferring from.
In example:
you cannot transfer data from your 60GB to your 20GB. But you can transfer your 20GB to your 60GB or your 60GB to another 60GB, etc.
If I were you, I would pick up the soon to be out of stock (if not already) RE5 bundle. Think of it this way, because there are alot less of them, the price will depreciate far less and resale value will be higher.
I just bought a 60GB 360 does anyone know how do I get a transfer kit for free? How do I qualify and what must I do? Also can I transfer files (saves, rosters, ect.) to my 360?
