Well, that demo was great. I loved seeing my little gremlins doing their crazy stunts. One rode a sheep into a wall, another smashed a pumpkin then put it on his head. They also upgrade thier weaponry automatically. I am definitely getting this game, and may just go preorder it now.

i wanted to keep playing...damn demos! its a nice change from the 948375938 shooters the 360 has. but why oh why english accents..i livein englandand hear enough of that..blergh
I love this game. I have my copy preordered. In the demo my one minion jumped on top of a sheep and rode it, then he got off it and proceeded to kill it, then he handed me that stuff from the dead sheep. I was also able to destroy a guys barn, and set people on fire!
I watched some videos on this game and thought it looked like totaly crap,untill I played the demo. The outside looks beatiful and much better the Oblivion. The gameplay reminds me of Fable (which is a good thing to me) and the way you control those demons is genius. This is a must buy for me.
Only problem I had was the controls at first. You can't move the camera around with the right thumb stick but when you walk the camera shifts accordingly and it's very good.
It was ok. The head hocho minion guy was annoying though(go into the tower and sit still). I never finished the demo though and getting the minions was inconsistent. The fire in the feild was cool though. I'll wait for the reviews.
I heard there were Shadowrun and Tenchu demos available for download, so I went to the new arrivals section only to see a demo of OVERLORD, which I've been following for a little while.
The game looked great when I saw previews, and so far it's completely living up to expectation. The game looks great, it's hilarious, and the controls are very easy to follow and the game is very interesting. If you haven't checked it out, I highly suggest you play it!! I ravaged a pumpkin farm and a few of my minions hollowed out some of the pumpkins to wear on their head, lol.
The animation and actions are all amazingly well done. I don't know when the exact release date for this game is, but considering there's a demo out, I'm rather excited!

great... i havent tried it yet but are the voices annoying posh english people (im english btw) but when people overly compensate for a posh accent its annoying

No, there's nothing wrong with the voices. I don't know what the problem is with them. They've gone for the stupid, slightly camp voice for the villagers, and the slightly annoying rasp for the minions(think goblins in Labyrinth). I like it.
the rating is only really based on gore and nudity... you can go around and kill innocents if you want, aside from doing all sorts of other crap. But yeah, you can't flay people alive and such, but it was never that type of game.
