Party chat or game chat? Which do you use?

I play Bad Company online, and I find that no one is using the game chat. I'm guessing they are most likely in party chats.

Which type of chat do you use when you game online and why?

i use party chat most of the time....but when i play gears 2, i go into to game channel cuz i hate party chatters who tell where everyone is and stuff...wish they could fix that crappy camera..just like gears 1, where ur teammates can only view you when they are dead.

game chat, unless im in a full lobby party with 6 ppl (cod4) i prefer to know whats going on in game.

Party chat when I'm playing with a group of friends and when I die I can warn my teammates. Although I barely use it I'm normally not in party chat just in silent rooms saying how useless everyone is without headsets.

After Playing TF2 for a long time I found out that randoms should never ever be depended on no matter what.

I think Left 4 Dead pushed me over the edge...Why do you buy a cooperative survival game and not cooperate? People don't even have headsets!Mau-Justice

yeah my best friend owns L4D and he hates me because I still haven't purchased L4D, he HATES playing online with noskilled players or w/o mics, I might get L4D-2 to calm him down, because it's a fun game

Do you play Bad Company? And as someone else said... I am picky with the type of people I play with. I hate it when someone in my group just keeps bragging about scores and stuff. If you play Bad Company let me know.

I use party chat all the time i'm online, and if there is no one online, i would sooner not talk than go into the game chat. Way too many immature people online nowadays, or kids with high voices that sing..

A bit of both sometimes i just turn my mic off so i don't have to deal with immature kids or adults.
