I'm not saying Halo 3, Bioshock, and CoD 4 are not good games, its just Oblivion has gotten me, my friends, and family addicted, but other games seem to fall short
None of the Xbox 360 games deserve 10s in my opinion because they all have flaws. By GameSpot's standards, a game can't have such flaws as these games have. Halo 3 is unoriginal, Mass Effect's interface is ****ed and so is its controls and like Oblivion it has frame rate issues, Oblivion's voice acting is sometimes silly and you hear the same voices over and over, some saw BioShock's lack of death penalty as making the game too easy and its weapons become obsolete when you have a wrench in hand with some plasmids and tonics, Gears of War was too short etc. etc.
All these things aren't my opinions but reasons given by reviewers at GameSpot and IGN for not giving perfect 10s.
I'm not saying these games are bad but anyone who would say that they don't have blatant flaws or something that would detract from a perfect score is a fanboy or hasn't played the game in question enough.
But I predict this topic will get a lot of replies with 99% of them having very little to say but "omg that game sucks it doesn't deserve a 10" and "omfg this game RULES it totally deserves a 10".

yes but as good as a game can be?
I dunno. We had a Great Year, but Honostly Nothing grabbed me and held me in except Maybe Call of Duty 4, but that doesn;t Deserve a 10.
Mass Effect - Great Game, AMazing Storyline, But its Technical Issues outweigh it deserving more than the 8.5 it did earn. It got insanely aggrovating as the game went on having to put up with the Lazy Development and Implementation of Side Quests and Item Management. And it pains me to say that because IMO Bioware is the Best RPG Development Company on the Planet, But it leaves me thinking Their B Team was more on Mass Effect where the Real Developers are currently Working on Dragon Age for the PC as their next Huge Epic.
Halo 3 - Im just not a Halo Fan. Very Mediocre Shooter that has no Innovation.
Orange Box - Half Life is my Favourite Shooter Series of all time, but I mean cmon Half Life 2 is years old now. Im glad Everyone who has a console can finally see it for the Masterpiece series that it is, but its not like its a New game. I played and beat it years ago.
Bioshock - Did it really Innovate anything? The Graphics were Great, it had a Creepy Atmosphere, but it was Insanely Linear, Most of the Abilities were Usless, it really was just Eye Candy, Fun Story though
Assassin's Creed - I did really Enjoy AC, It would be up there on my Top 3 of the Year, But was it Perfect? No. Im still Trying to Figure out why Flag Collecting somehow helps you? All it does it get your an Achevement, There was nothing Extra in the Game, Nothing came out of Unlocking the Extra DNA Strand. I was Hoping for a Bonus Assassination or something but NOTHING. The people playing it on the PS3 must be really mad sinse collecting them does NOTHING for the game.
No game is perfect, but some set new bars in awesomeness. Oblivion defenitly set it for 360.Tarzanman0
Not really. Morrowind is a better game and it was on Xbox. you had many more choices in Morrowind it was even less Linear and more fun to play
Oblivian Dummed Down the entire engine.
I don't think any Xbox 360 games even come close to a 10. Hell, I don't think I'd give any 360 games a 9 either.

Hmm, weird how the majority of your game ratings are 10's including a few 360 ones...
Actually, I do that just to bump up the average score. Nobody gives a damn about anyone's personal review because it's the overall reader review average they look at. So I only add reviews to up or lower the average score to what I would review it as.

Oh alright, I've done that a couple times as well.
Call of Duty 4 must be THE greatest game I've ever played and most definitely deserves a 10 b/c of its addictive multiplayer, outstanding graphics, supreme gameplay and awesome story.
Oblivion is also amazing. Such an open world...mind-boggling.
As for Halo 3, I agree the multiplayer is memorable, but i just don't like how unbalanced the weapons are...
To me, the only games that should ever get a perfect 10 are history making, genre re-defining, evolutionary games that completely change the way we think about gaming...
with that said...nothing so far on 360 deserves a 10...a couple 8-9s though :)

I can't believe you just called Oblivion linear. I' ve been plating the game for QUITE a while now and I have moved pass the first half of the Main Quest yet I've done like a million other things and hadSO MUCH fun doing it. ALso only like EVERY review has said that the game has almost 200 hrs of play time (and thats without the expansion) with only 40 of those clocking into the main quest.
NOw about perfect 10 ... I don't think any 360 game so far deserves a perfect TEN! I could see why you would say Oblivion Tarza but its not perfect. HIgh nines YES but TEN not exactly.
