Hey guys/girls, here is my problem. I have one of those play&charge kits and worked fine until yesterday.

I stopped playing my xbox 360 for a month and returned yesterday for a casual gaming time.

But my play and charge kit simply don't work anymore, i plug in the USB and the light turn green (full) but it isn't full, in fact when i remove the cable my controller stop working, in other words, it didnt charge at all.

Is there something i can do to fix this up?

Thanks a lot.

Happened to mine as well (black one to be exact). You just have to keep it plugged in or just go back to the original battery pack. You can ahve a dead battery pack in and plug in the kit and have it work.

This happened to my brother-in-law who had both his wireless pads stop holding charge at exactly the same time. Which leads me to believe it could be an xbox problem rather than a controller problem.

Sounds like you need a new battery. They sell them separate from the charge kit. You can get one for $15 or less at most stores.
