A couple of questions about the music player on the 360. I've never used the Xbox for any media apart from games, but wanted to know whether you can copy music off a USB stick on to the HDD rather than just a CD, because it will be a bit tedius burning CDs from iTunes only to put them straight onto the XBOX. Which leads me onto my second question and the reason why I want to put music on my Xbox. At the moment, I play games listening to music from my iPod through speakers, and then hurriedly trying to pause it when any dialogue occurs in the game, so I still knew what was happening in the story. Is there anyway to replace in game music with custom playlists, so it automatically stops when speech etc is in the game. In Def Jam Icon there was an option to use your tunes as the game soundtrack, and I was wondering if there was anyway to do it for all the other games. Cheers, Alexi

1. No. Ripping of audio CD's only. 2. When listening to music via the 360 music player and playing a game at the same time the music is automatically muted during cutscenes. I'm not entirely sure if this is a function of the 360 or of the games themselves, but I've never had my music play over a cutscene before.

Cheers, didn't know it stopped during cutscenes, it'll be useful for the future.

yeah I used to do that, and they were never named and took too long to name them on the xbox, now i've got an usb pen that i can quickly transfer songs onto and play straight from my xbox. and you can use the xbox dvd remote to skip throught tracks etc when playing
