Conviction. The MP is more fun than Bioshock 2.

Well.... what did you want him to say? Your original post only stated, "should i get bioshock 2 to or splinter cell conviction i cant decide".

I have both games, I'd say Bioshock 2. Bioshock 2 was just so more awesome than splinter cell. Though my opinion is extremely bias because I loved Bioshock 1 and thus the second game was more of the first, and improved, so of course I liked it more. I'm also an old fan of splinter cell and was horrifically disappointed by it. You don't even need stealth anymore. There is no motive when you can shoot everyone and still pass. I'll cling to my old splinter cell games and trade this one in soon enough.

But without bias, both games are enormously different. Go with whatever one you feel more inclined to play.

I'm deciding the same thing (Conviction or Bioshock2) and I'm going to buy Bioshock 1 and 2 and complete them both. Reason being, I've heard Conviction's singleplayer is really short, and as I'm not a big MP fan - I'm going for the game with a better and longer story.

Also I played Double Agent and was completely put off by the crazy frame-rate problems.

I finished Bioshock 2 a few days after it was released and I finished Conviction last night. This is a very tough choice, as both as 9/10 titles in my book. In the long run I recommend you get both, but for now I say get Conviction. Apart from a few infuriating instances (yes I raged), it was brilliant. Its all about your minds cunning. Sneaking around a full blown carnival, following spies looking for you, waiting until they enter a dark spot to interrogate them without people seeing is thrilling. As is sneaking around CIA headquarters luring an elite squad to a fellow members dead body you just killed, then blowing them up with a remote mine. Since you are only looking for a single player experience it seems, buy Conviction, finish the single player *only takes about 8 hours* then sell it and get Bioshock 2, which is slightly cheaper now.

Get bioshock 2 because its probably cheaper at the momment then when you're finished get convictions 'cos by then it should have gone down in price :D
