i was wondering if i should get Rainbow Six: Vegas or Lost Planet. i haven't really played much tactical shooters, so i don't know how good they are. i kind of want a game where you just shoot mindlessly and blow things up. i also like the idea of cover mechanics. i can't really decide which game to get. i don't have a xbox live yet, but i will get it soon. considering the single player, multiplayer, how long the game lasts, and how fun the game is, should i get Rainbow Six: Vegas or Lost Planet?

Go with Rainbow Six: Vegas. Awesome single player, and "awesomer" multiplayer.

I can't get into Rainbow Six at all but Lost Planet is great. People who say the game sucks don't know what there talking about.

Buy Vegas, it's hands down a better game. Lost Planet is a great game to hire. Splinter Cell : DA is also a great hire.

If you want a mindless game to blow things up, go with Lost Planet. If you want the better over-all game, get Rainbow.

I only played the demo of RB6 and its cool. But I own Lost Planet and its AMAZING. The boss battles are some of the most intense i've ever done. Thats the game I'd go with if you dont have Live yet.

Vegas, Lost Planet is nothing and the kid who think there are better online games are wrong. Gears of War is average online its just popular with the kids Vegas is amazing online. Whats Lost Planet? HA

Lost planet, amazing explosions and crazy bosses. I would suggest downloading the demos because some people absolutely love the game (me) and some people hate it.

too different, both great. but RB6V wins in overall quality if you HAVED to choose. Luckaly i played both (RB6V right now) and love both

Lost Planet is an action game that basically.. is good, but it doesnt go out of it's way to amaze anyone. It's just... play-for-fun imo.

Rainbow Six: Vegas is a game that has similar gameplay to Gears of War and GRAW. It's a great tactical shooter, amazing single player and a really fun multiplayer... multiplayer that beats Gears of War's multiplayer =)

I'd go with Rainbow Six: Vegas. SImply cus there's more depth to the gameplay and it's overall a better experience and more worth your money.
