So i got everything hooked up,and everything was working. Messed around with the voice control,

and searched around thru the menu.

I decided to install Assasins creed. Seemed to be installing fine, thou pretty slow.I went away for a second and then there was no picture. I restarted the xbox , unplugged everything first. The xbox turned on , it wasn't making any grinding noises like people have been complaining about. There just isn't any picture or sound . I rechecked all the connections, so im not sure if its just me that iam doing something wrong, or its my xbox one. Has anyone had this same problem.Would like to figured it out before i call xbox.

Try using a different HDMI port.

@jg780000: I too bought one for my son, but somehow its hooked up in the living room now.

I've noticed the xbox when frist setting it up is slow to boot up or do anything. If u unplug the xbox and tv from the power this will reset the hdmi ports. You need to leave it unpluged for at least 2mins. From there the xbox is slow to boot once its been removed from its power. So have a little patience, it could take a few minutes to boot.

My bother got one and thought it was doa because all he got was a black screen for 5 mins. Mine was the same, if all fails call microsoft.

I know when I got mine I plugged in all in and I didn't get picture or sound to my TV it just said "No Input". I ended up going through a plethora of things trying to fix it thinking it was the HDMI port or something, finally I just left it unplugged for awhile tried again and it all seemingly connected together.
