Prototype is a "must have" game. Please read.

I went to my nearest mall and guess what I found there.

A videogame store that has the Prototype game in front of everyone.

So i asked one of the owners if i can try out the game.

Luckily, he was generous and let me play.

First off, don't expect a graphics like Gears of War 2 or Lost Odyssey.

The gameplay is what going to shock you. I was running around in the city and throwing cars. One amazing thing I did was picking up a car and throwing it to a helicopter.

Prototype is a really great game and there's going to be great reviews for it. I didn't get to see how huge the city is but it's a free roam game and there's always destruction and fire everywhere! You get to kill anyone! The game itself reminds me of GTAIV and Saints Row 2 indeed but with more gore and more action.

You use square to punch and triangle to kick so you get to create combos. The gameplay is almost similar to God of War without quick time events.

It truly is a good game. I can't wait to get my copy.

Sounds great and I am also anticipating it too bad I have no money.

I'm only going to rent it but that's just because I'm not a big fan of buying single player games. At least not at the full, brand new game price. They have it at my Gamecrazy here in Utah and I got to watch it. It does look very fun!

This game have been a day one purchased for me, I just hope it play as good as infamous if not better.therealnerdd

Yeah i think the price release is about $69.99 which is a bit over priced. From what I've heard, the game itself takes 30 hours. In my opinion, I wouldn't pay for the price release but a $50 would be enough.chicks_boy

I'm Stoked, June 10th just can't come quick enough (Release up here in Canada). I was ok with it's original listing as a 60$ game but closer to release it went up to 70$ which ticks me off, damn money grubbing stores. The exchange rate is just about on par and doesn't justify that price jack up. Anyway I'm gettin it first day and i know i wont be disappointed.

I agree, but at the same time I haven't seen any game reviews come out early in a while, even when they're good. There's a good chance that it could still get a very good review and be a very good game. We'll just have to wait and see though. I bet IGN will have a review soon. They are usually pretty quick. The game doesn't come out for four more days though.

no not 70 halo freaking 3 didnt even release for that much

agreeing with other posters, its a rent since it's solely single player. And because i have that summer unlimited rental thing at blockbuster :D

good ive been waiting for this game since E3 06 i cant wait!

It looks interesting, but it'll have to have more than pretty looking explosions and 'cool' features like jumping off of buildings etc. It does look like it'll be a good laugh, but as it's single player orientated I don't want it to become repetitive or find out you can complete it in like 6-7 hours.

At Canadian Retailers, it was originally a normal 60$ like the States but in the last week here the retailers all f-ing jacked the price up.

I'm buying Prototype, no doubt about that :)

I'll try it sometime at the end of the year when the price drops considerably, i've cut down alot on Day 1 purchases and think that the only ones worth it imo this year will be Tales Of Vesperia, Assassins Creed 2, Bioshock 2, CODMW2 and most likely one or two more.
That being said i still believe Prototype will be a awesome game, and look forward to it in the future :)
