So I was pondering the other day that meaby I should invest my money in one of these, since Im in a big fighting mood currently. I was looking towards Tekken 6 one since, well, I just happen to own that game for 2 weeks so I figured that would be a good choise (I also considered MadCatz SF4 controller). But I rather reserve that jugment untill I hear your guys's opinion on what arcade stick is the best of the bunch. So any propositions?

Also, a kinda offtopic question regarding Tekken 6: because of the way player data is saved and published online I was wondering is there a way to share custom character looks, like via a site or something?

The Madcatz TE is the best stick on the market.

Well the tekken 6 arcade stick is a wireless piece of plastic made by Hori, the wireless means that you will maybe have lag (controller lag hurr xD)

The TE stick is really good, and you can mod it with sawna denshi parts, i dont think you can with the tekken stick since the box is so small. If you need more info pm me :)

I don't think there is a need for modding in the sanwa parts if you buy the round 2 tournament edition for 150 bucks. That's the one I'm eyeing and I think it already has those parts.

It does already have sanwa parts and so does the TE round 1 so you shouldn't need to mod those which is the which is the whole point. The Sf4 standard stick is the one that you should buy if you looking to mod it. It can easily be modded with sanwa parts and maybe save you some money but you have to know what your doing. Second, i own the tekken 6 stick and there is 0 lag and i mean 0. In the whole year ive owned it ive never experienced any sort of delay and the quality of it is actually quite good. Ive had it for a year and its still holding up just fine. The only problem that i have with it is that it takes batteries. So if you do choose the tekken 6 stick you'll probably want to pick up some rechargeable batts to go with it.

I can get the Tekken 6 bundle w/ the arcade stick off Amazon for 60 bucks. So in your opinion is the arcade stick is sufficient? I heard good things about it but everyone is always like "get the madcatz TE edition" so ya. What do you think? Save some money and get a game with an arcade stick? Or continue to save to get the best of the best?

If you've never used a stick before it wont make a difference because you're gonna be spending the next three months getting used to stick so you may as well buy the cheap stick/game and see if you even like using a stick. It's better then spending $200 on a stick just to find out you hate it. Also Street Fighter may be a better choice to practice on. It took me about a year or so to feel comfortable with a stick. I only ever used sanwa parts but i also had money to burn. Another plus is when you upgrade to a TE you can let company use your Tekken Stick. It's less responsive so you'll have an advantage.

Tekken stick isn't less responsive don't listen to this TC. i have one and it works as well as a wired would. The bundle is a good deal if you like tekken so i would go for it. I did and i felt it was a good purchase i also own other fight sticks and as well so im speaking from exp here the stick doesn't lag.

Do you really feel that stock hori parts are on par with full Sanwa? There sure is a lot of information floating around to suggest the opposite.

No i dont but unlike people here in this thread ive actually used the Tekken stick and it works just fine. Theres no lag from the fact that its wireless and the buttons respond just fine. I have beaten people with that stick who were using better sticks like TEs and ive never felt that i was at a disadvantage. The build quality is pretty good as well and i havent broken anything on it yet. Is it as fancy as a TE? no but it gets the job done and dosent cost as much + its bundled with a game. Its a great deal especially for people just getting into fight sticks. Asking someone to go all out on a fight stick when they have never used one is silly to me.

Its like cars. A Benz is def nicer than say a Honda but both perform the act of driving just fine.

Ya I actually just ordered the Tekken 6 bundle last night. It'll be here on Wednesday. I can't wait to use the stick. I watched a couple youtube reviews for it and they came to same conclusions. They were people who had the other, more expensive sticks but said the Tekken 6 one is also very good. I am really excited!

Well, I ordered a cable that allows to connect a wireless pad to xbox so even IF there is a slight lag it should fix it. And I dont realy see any reason to mod the stick eather, it should have everything required to play Tekken and SF alike intact, unless you mean some cosmetic stuff. Tekken stick is also alot cheaper, so...... I think I go with that :/ Thanks for your imput guys.
