How do you think it will be done? Are the people who buys the Elite going to have to move stuff with a memory card?

I don't plan to get an Elite so I don't worry. But the guys are MS are working on it. And if I had to guess... it's a program downloaded from XBL and you will probably end up having to use a flash drive or some other ethernet cable or something fairly easy.

If they charge to just transfer your data and stuff from console to console, well rather, hard drive to hard drive, that would be the biggest mistake they could make and alienate more customers.

The Elite comes with some sort of transfer cable or somethign, not exactly sure how it works though. There is also this disc package at EB you can buy called "Xchange" and can transfer files from the Hard Drive. Go to Xbox.com, and look at what the Elite includes to see for yourself.

the 120GB HDD comes with a transfer cable that moves all your saves and demos to the new HDD and formats the old one, unfortunately this cable comes with the stand alone 120GB HDD ($179), but i don't think its included in the Elite bundle.

there is supposedly gonna be some sort of cable to transfer it, but you can also redownload all your stuff you have downloaded and bought from ur gamer profile, saves arent a big deal most games except like saints row and crackdown it doesnt matter if you lose saves. and oblivion, unless you havent finished games. im most worried about me transferring my stuff to the 120 gig hdd, bcuz i am not getting the elite unless my current system brakes. im interested in the bigger hdd though.

Well I am still debating if I am going to buy the ELite. Just was courious of how to do it. I see that if you copy arcade games you have, you can not get achivements for them. So I would guess you have to re download them, but what about the saved games. That I what I am thinking. I defanly need more HDD space because I am at 1.3 g left. To many CSI shows.

I never looked but I guess my explanation was right. Simpler usually = better.

As of now MS has not realeased info on how Premiums systems can transfer data to Elite systems....They has only said that they are working on a way to do it....

120gb stand alone hard-drives are the only way to get the data transfer cable and will only work with the same system not an Elite version....that means when you transfer data to the 120gb that tranfered data will only work with the system it was originally transfered from....

i still feel betrayed by MS, if the elite includes the hdmi, the 120 gb HDD then i think we should be able to exchange ours and be able to pay like 100 dollars more or something to get the elite... it seems so unfair, it seems that the people who first got theirs got cheated and the waiters win

I do not use my 360 just for games, it is a media center for me. and you can not get those shows in HD, I like it. I also do not want to delete them. Just a prefrance.
