Question regarding getting a new 360 when my old one got banned

Okey so my Xbox 360 got banned from Xbox Live and im thinking about getting a new one, so i wonder if i can take the HDD from my current Xbox 360 and put it in a new Xbox 360, and be able to play online/use marketplace etc?

The reason why i wanna do this is course i dont wanna lose my saves/downloads.

And no, i didnt hack my old 360.

he got it messed up, they banned your system not your account, so yes you can play on another 360 and you should be able to use your existing hardrive but im not 100% sure.

he got it messed up, they banned your system not your account, so yes you can play on another 360 and you should be able to use your existing hardrive but im not 100% sure.

That's weird, usually the only time they banned systems is if they modded it. Since you said you didn't hack your system, I thought you did something online that got your banned, in which case, they ban the account.

maybe its temporary?

@LoserMike: I think i got banned for having Gamertags registred in Japan/USA and i live in Europa, but it doesnt matter now, s**t happends you know.

@Kevanio: It might be, i havent thought about it. Well i havent got any messege from Microsoft so i have no idee.

I have a Gamertag for Japan (so i can download Japanese demos) on my 360 and i live in the US and i never been banned so i don't think it's for that.

Now what did do to get banned? Its gotta be pretty extreme lolSw0rDMaN

I have no idee, i barely play online and my mic doesnt work so its not for swearing or so :|

@The Slipknot dude (Slipknot \m/): Dont ask me mate, i simply cant use Live anymore and Microsoft havent sent me an explenation yet, but most people i asked thinks that they banned my 360.

EDIT: Nvm this anymore, it just started working again.. strange tho but i dont care :D Btw my Gamertag is Sobergolf if anyone wants to add me.
