Hey guys, I just have a quick question I would like to know from all of you.

You see, I just got my Xbox 360 Elite and when I push the power button, it doesn't give that "clicky" feeling like the other systems like the Premium does. I was wondering if it does the same thing for you guys because it is actually driving me crazy not knowing when I pushed hard enough to turn on the system. It makes me a little worried because I also had an issue where I turned on my system for the first time with no video showing up so I am wondering if my system has a defect. Anyways, it is a pretty minor thing but I wasj ust wondering if any of you guys have experienced the same thing.

Sorry for not being so clear, what I mean is that when I push the power button, the button feels like it is "squishy". It doesn't give me that feeling of satisfaction that it will turn on everytime. I push maybe three or four times until it is hard enough to turn on the system. Like I have said before, it is a minor problem.

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've ever turned mine on using the power button.  I always use the controller.

I don't have an Elite, but yeah I know what you're talking about, that "click" when you push the button, mine is perfect, but some cousins have a 360 and it just died, and I remember that his button didn't made that click, but I wouldn't worry too much..

I know the click that you are talking about and yes my elite doesn't have it. Its more pressure sensitive. I think someone else talked about it and several people have also mentioned the pressure sensitive touch that doesn't have the click. I think its normal

Try removing the faceplate, then putting it back on. The faceplate may be a little further away from the button as your old 360.
