I want to play with my brother online over Live and thinking about purchasing another xbox 360. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if so, were there any problems that you encountered? Thanks.

It's normally fine, providing you have your own gamertag and your brother has his, a decent internet connection and a good router. My brother is on this "self discovery" thing of his and living in a house full of flat mates, about 10 of them and they have a few Xboxes set up and they get on fine with one another.

Works just fine I have friends bring their systems when we play at my house cause I hate playing split screen, but yeah as long as you have your own gamertag there is no problem playing eachother online when in the same house set up right next to eachother or completely across the house it doesn't matter.

wait, 2 XBL accounts on the same 360, or two 360's in the same house? I would just play splitscreen honestly if it's the second.

That would be a waste. Honestly I would suggest getting a different system so you can play all the exclusive games for the different consoles.

Well its all up to you, but I had 2 xbox 360 hooked up at the same time on 2 different tvs.

One was mine and the other my friends, we loved to play halo but just hated having to do split screen.

We had to reset the router a couple of times, but after that everything was fine.

Its not that hard if you wanted to do this. :)

Yeah...it works fine. I had around 4-5 Xbox's at my house for around 3 years...no problem at all. Just want to have at least 5 meg internet, if not 10. And everyone needs their own XBL gamertags....that's about it.

It's only $120 a year... and for those that are confused, I'm saying I want to hook up 2 different xboxs to 2 different televisions using 2 different live accounts. I want to figure this out and planning to buy 2 37 inch LCDs for the both of us.
