ii bought the GotY edition around the time it came out and haven't played it in a while. now i see that all the dlc for the game is half price but im kinda lost here. were all of these included in GotY? or was it just shievering isles and KotN? and are they worth it? i know they are half price but still, how much content do they add?

Apparently it only comes with Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles. Bethesda likes money. Despite the discount, I don't think any of the DLC is really worthwhile. The game already has a lot of content and when it comes down to it, you're just paying money for aesthetics or overpowered items.

If you love the game IMO ALL the DLC is worth it. It just extends the game that much further. If I could magically turn Oblivion into a persistent, ever-changing world (I guess an MMORPG),I would.

The content on the disc is only Shivering Isles and Knights of the Nine. You can purchase new dungeons from the market place that weren't shipped with the game.

I thought Shivering Isles was a good expansion. But Oblivion is great even without it.

Frostcrag Spire is awesome for a mage character. It's my favorite out of all the smaller DLC. Mehrune's Razor is good too and isn't designed for a particular character type.
