Quiting Xbox :(

Since you say you're only in 8th Grade, you're lucky you learned the lesson now. All you need is self-disipline. Here's a fun tip I do with my kids:

Set up the Parental Control's yourself for 30 minutes. Come home, play for 30 minutes. When the Parental Control's kick in, start your afternoon; do homework, chores, GO OUTSIDE and other things. Then, once finished, I let them on for however long they want.

Since Christmas Break is coming up for school to, maybe it would be a good time to try out my tip...

You know, just because your grades went DOWN doesn't mean that "it was the video games".

I always play a lot and my grades fluctuate, depending on how hard the college courses are. I get A's, I get D's, its life.

i had those issuses to. im not a sports super star or anything, but i have sports second half of the year. I try to limit to only the weekends. i got my xbox for getting 4.0 and having to save up for it my self. Then on top of that i have to maintain that 4.0 or i cant get new games or play until i get by grade back up after one month. So yeah dont owrry about it. you have to pace your self and have self control. dont give up. just give up the addiction
