"Banner Ads" Not showing up on the dashboard...please help!

I didn't even know that these banner ads even existed on the dashboard. I cannot see them on my 360 and i read it was because for some reason my xbox live account was created under a child account which that is not true. I looked it up and I indeed doNOT havea childs account. This makes no sense. Why cant i see these awesome informative ads on my dashboard? I have looked this up over the web but still cant find any answers, please help me if you can.

you get them when you turn 18, but why would you want them...i would prefer my old dashboard...anyway...what really sucks is if you use the same hotmail account u had since your were in 5th grade then even when you get to be 18 you can't use teh msn messnger feature on the XBOXClinton015

Yeah, that happened to me, I thought that sucked. The true story is that I got another account, a whole new one, and restarted because the Windows Live ID was bugged. Basically, I could never get my account back if I transfered or got deleted from my Harddrive... so what is the point of having it? So I got another account, and it only had 6K on the last acount account, but you have 27K. I can understand that there is no way of making a whole account, even with the effort you put into it.

Why? Because i am tired of the dull blank squares on my dashboard. Sometimes i forget to check the market place for new downloads and such, and overall it just looks a lot more next gen to have freaking ads showing up on your dashborad! Besides, its not like they are internet ads, they are VIDEO GAME ads so who cares? They promote games to keep an eye out for.

Hopefully you guys figure this one out. How's about calling MS up? I don't know but my dashboard is looking a little too bare, need those advertisements to spice it up. (I cant believe I'm requesting to be advertised to.)

But yeah, it feels dyanmic and next-gen to have them there.
